The ABSA branch in Galleria was officially opened on Thursday. At the event Kuben Reddy ( Branch Manager), Desree Blackburn (Regional Head - Transactional & Deposits) and Johan Coetzee (Regional Manager - South Coast) were there to celebrate the occasion.

SA telephone supplier helps hospice

SOUTH Africa’s biggest telephone supplier has brought a smile to the staff of the Mthatha hospice by fencing the entire yard and donating first aid kits. Last Thursday Telkom visited the hospice with its staff members where they fenced and prepared the garden. Telkom’s endeavour followed a request for assistance which was forwarded by the hospice to Telkom.

Financial provider aids them back to school

The ABSA Loan Centre, Mthatha held a Back 2 school campaign that was run within 4 weeks, with more than 500 entries from Mthatha and surrounding areas. Anyone, whether they have an account at ABSA or not and who applies for a loan at any of ABSA’s branches throughout the country, is eligible to enter.

Hibberdene´s rugby production line rolls out brothers

THERE must be something in the air at Hibberdene that helps to produce good rugby players. With Springbok Peter Grant as the relatively small town´s current icon, the latest additions to the production line are Dries and Delia Coetzee´s sons, Armand and Marcell, aged 19 and 17 respectively.
